Plan With Me: Weekly Binder Planner

Today I thought I'd show y'all how I like to plan in my mini binder for the week. This binder is currently my weekly planner that I go to for any events or happenings. It also carries my notes on job hunting, my blog's progress and planning, as well as personal notes. I will be going more into depth about how I stay organized in this planner and how well it works for me, but for now, we'll stick to how I plan for a normal week.

Now, you may notice my weeks look pretty desolate, and that's because there are. I spend most of my free time blogging and looking for jobs. I do, however, have things I need to do on certain days, so you will see some things planned out, but the bulk of my planning is done daily in my Day Designer for Blue Sky Daily Planner I got from Target almost a month ago.

My weekly planning is done on Sunday nights so that I can prepare for the week ahead. So, let's get started:

The first thing I do is put in any major events happening that week that are in a time frame. I like to use my Target page flags to highlight their urgency. For this particular week, Monday and Tuesday are my busiest days.

Next, I will get a to do list from one of my Target list pads. As you can see, I have a ton. I decided to go with the blue polka dot for this week. I'll line up the page with the rings and mark it off where I need to punch with a pencil.

Then, I'll start filling it out! These are usually things that have to get done this week, but don't have a particular day to go in. This list also gets filled out as the week goes on as well.

Once my weekly to dos are filled in, I'll go ahead and start writing in things I know that need to be done on a certain day. Take a look!

If things are priority, then I will put a little "!" mark next to the check box in red, however those tasks weren't so urgent. If they don't get done, I migrate them to the next day.

After I've done most of what I can think of in my planning, I will start to decorate so that as I go back into my week, it looks aesthetically pleasing! Washi tape is the easiest supply to use to spruce up the pages. My washi tape sets are from Kikki.K, and if you're interested in purchasing their most current set, check it out here.

I hope you enjoyed this short but sweet planning related post, because I have a few more ideas that might be more exciting and useful to you.
Until next time,
~Alexa~
