Review: Bumble and Bumble Surf Infusion Sea Salt Spray

If there is one hair product I need during the summer, it's a sea salt hairspray, and here's why: it fixes my bad hair days, and I get a lot of those living in humidity central, A.K.A. Florida. Today, I'm going to talk all about Bumble and Bumble's new twist on a sea salt hairspray called "Surf Infusion."

The Surf Infusion is a combination of Bumble and Bumble's "Surf Spray" plus oil for additional hydration. I've owned the Surf Spray for about 4 years now, and it works well, but I believe this new product blows it away. It reduces frizz by hydrating dead hairs, so your hair looks not only like tossled beach waves, but also shiny and healthy.

My favorite way to apply it is on damp hair, and to give it a little scrunch for some style. I do have naturally wavy hair, but with this product in, I still see a difference. It doesn't leave my hair crunchy like the Surf Spray did either, which makes me love it even more. Also, did I mention this stuff smells amazing? I would wear it just to smell it.

If you're new to sea salt sprays and are looking to try one, I suggest starting out with the small, travel size bottle like I have. The full size it quite pricey, but the travel one is reasonable, and a little goes a long way with the product. Simply shake it up until it appears a foamy consistency and spray all around.

I've taken some before and after pictures so you can get an idea of what my hair looks like with and without it to see the difference. You'll notice my hair is more of a soft smooth wave in the before, but in the after, my hair looks damper as if it was almost dry from being in the ocean all day! There is also more body, texture, and curl after using the spray.
